you have a focus

which engine?

best would be to sell and get a RS, everything you would need comes with it.

if you want a reliable n/a engine build to an turbo engine it will need new internals. you nead an intercooler section for the boost. manifold, exhaust, turbo, new electronic.

difficulty depends on what you can do and what not

I really wouldnt bother, If you want more power sell the 1.6 and get some of your money back. Then go and buy a FRS.

I did the same with a Sierra 2.0i Ghia and did a full cosworth conversion, spent thousands on it. And when you come to sell it you never get any of the money back.

So much would have to be changed on your Focus, Arches, Engine, Gearbox, Brakes, Ecu the list is endless. Really not worth it IMHO.

Trust me i've been down that road, would not recomend it to anyone.

Regards

Paul

Agree with pgtips. Problem is even if you did a turbo conversion you will still have problems with it later. The amount of money you will spend your rather get a FRS

Ive got a RS engine sitting around somewhere

ITs a lot of headache to be honest and costs a lot, you will have to replace nearly everything to get it running 100%
