Two legends right there in the CVH tuning world...Christian and Tim! Both MENTAL motors!

Christian...any thoughts of venturing back?

Tim...are NMS still developing the CVH? Did the 400hp CVH ever surface? Are you tempted to come back

 

I'm pretty sure Karl says he won't touch the CVH block anymore as there weak after 350 ..he seems to use the Zetec bottom end more now I'm told ..the ZVH is not a CVH though.

 

Yeah I heard that...I used to LOVE the battle of the CVH's...the NMS clan vs everyone else it seemed to be lol! Was amazing to watch and read about!....who remember Turbo OZ?? lol

then you had the Zetec battles with Sunny and Paul R, and the other Paul with the black fiesta...I was meant to join that battle but the car never surfaced just like many others

Then you had the wildcards....ZVH engines - Red Fiesta turbo (maybe Sean was it??), Sid had a mental S2 Turbo built by Ian Howell...

Let alone the Cossie battles with the likes of Sean Bicknell, Martin Hadland, Mike Rainbird, Rod Tarry, Bruce Reed, Dave was it that owned YUM? etc!

Man those were the days!

 

Oh my, real blast from the past. Was only the other day I was reminiscing about this car with someone from the old Norfolk RSOC meeting days!

 

Some proper cars back in the day. Shame the way the government is going with cracking down on motorists it makes is so much harder to enjoy cars

 

See, that's the weird bit. I think the bottom end is good, it's the cam scenario that caused me the biggest headaches and with no real fix.

 

Is the Norfolk rsoc still going lads?

 

I'm not sure that it is to be honest. I do occasionally see one or two of the guys that used to go, but I think it died off in the end.

Problem I've got is i'd need to find a LHD from Germany or somewhere and have it shipped to the wife's place in the states.
