Angry I need help

Hi im a 15 year old fiesta owner,
I bought my mark 2 fiesta about a year ago and between school and working at a garage I have been trying to prepare to take the engine out I have finally got down to only having to take the exhaust of and disconnecting the driveshaft and engine mounts, so today I wanted to lift the engine out and couldn't as I couldn't disconnect the driveshaft, now thinking about it as I couldn't see any bolt to undo to remove it I wondered if it just popped out when I lift ?

and also wondered if its easier dropping the engine and gearbox out the bottom or lifting out ????

if u could help me with removing the driveshaft I would be very grateful.

(I want to remove it preferably gearbox end as it would be easier for me due to tools)

just get a prybar up between the gearbox and cv joint and give it a quick jolt and it should pop out
