crank is 88mm the same as an 1800 cvh, i think the pistons are around 82.5mm from memory. I managed to pull one out of a scrappy around 15 years ago from an american 1900 gt escort. was a strange find and must have been a late one as it had an ally sump much like a zetec but was most definitely a CVH. I ran it in my xr3i for a few months before i went for a 2.0 zvh

Ha ha, that's a very kind offer mate, I'd get murdered by the wife I've already got 4 doorstops.

May get one in the future if I ever Finnish what I've already got, the years fly by.

If it goes and sounds like this I'm happy;

It doesn’t take long to get up to that sort of money I dread to think what I’ve spent!
It’s not just the obvious large parts like intercooler etc, it’s the little bits that wack the spending up like clips & bolts and even the cost of rattle cans for painting bits and plating parts that soon mount up ŁŁŁŁŁ

I was going to price all my receipts up the other day but decided against it.

Looking forward to the updates.
