Well I decided I was going to tackle the under reading rev counter. Since id gone over to management it always under read by 50%. I asked the question on the simtek forum and Andrew Gallagher told me I could use an Omex tacho driver into pin 9 of the ecu and to the ford tacho wire. So I ordered 1 and fitted it and it still under read by 50% until Mark knight told/guided me through the tacho edge table grid in the ECU. we had a play and guessed some settings that were luckily spot on.
Also with being a key worker in the health sector .armed with my ID I took the car to work and managed to grab a few pics and also managed to find a pair of NOS 80 spec seat base covers ( like rocking horse shit ).

I think the most impressive part of this build so far is sourcing those 88 spec base covers! Where the hell did you find those??
(in all seriousness - great build all round!)

Today I went all perverted and got a few areas cleaned and coated that haven't been touched in just over 4k mileage , it's never going to be perfect has I've built this to be used , the car to say it's been used in the dry , rain and light snow/ frost hasn't done bad at all . The buzzweld is faultless.. just need to get the other ARB powder coated and back on now .

Got a call out last night to one of the hospitals me and my team maintain , it was 1800 and the sun blaring , so decided to chuck a few tools in the boot and take the turbo and stretch its legs ..grabbed a few pics on the way home , 73 miles of lovely driving
Had a quick play for 2-3 miles with the ALS engaged doesnt half push you through the bends , especially when you've only got a pair of 80s spot lights lighting up the B roads through the bends .
Finally got home , to glowing manifold and hot brakes

Well today I checked all my fuel fittings to try and find my fuel restriction , it turns out they are all good and will flow plenty for what I need , so the noisy 044 came off and the new 044 from motorsport Developments was fitted ..just need to get out now and check what the fuelling is like .
