Tonight I've fitted a new Mac Valve and then took data from the old oil pump spring and new one and are as follows .
Old spring at 90° oil temp at 3.7k = 40psi (218kpa)
New spring at 90° oil temp at 3.7k = 75psi (519kpa)
So will now get our and see how it goes and try cal3 to see if I've solved the mis fire..
If not new leads and plugs next and probably a new coil driver.

Great result.. reset the ECU data log and went out to grab fuel and collect some data / have fun .
So I get out nice and steady and then once at temp I give it a couple of pull at WOT in cal2 and try a pull at cal3 and feels quicker ..so I pull in into the petrol station and full it and head back out to try and watch the digital boost gauge on the zeitronix monitor in cal3 but I bumped into a mapped new shape focus St which I managed to dispense very easy , then after a short cruise I get upto what I call my testing circuit through the mountains and give it some boost in cal3 I recall glancing down and seeing more boost. So after a few pulls and some ALS on the way home I get home and cool the car down and down load the data and send to Mark Knight who takes a good look at it and confirms we are now hitting more boost in cal3 without mis fire ..so to say I'm happy is an understatement ..
New oil spring hasn't added much at idle but up at high boost added 0.5bar of oil pressure..its running sweet so I'm well happy
Out boosting .

Since the car is where I want to be and the weather is turning foul I've decided to get a few jobs done that I've wanted done for a while .. first one is my MK motorsport ARB which as been and too for nearly 3 years ..it all fits as it should apart from the TCa end , so next weekend I'll be going up to explain this one last time as it seems to get missed by messenger or what's app everytime . So tonight I've started fitting the bits that do fit right .
And here's the bit that's wrong , only thing to get sorted and it's a fitting ARB.

That man is an absolute knob I couldn’t deal with him I’d hit him round the head with it. He is no engineer he copy’s other peoples work and gets it’s wrong. The man’s a welder and a cnc operator that’s it. I sold his junk to someone who wanted it and fitted compbrake stuff. It fits it works. Best of luck getting your stuff sorted I hope you get what your after!!

I had the exact same bother with my tca’s, clown tried to tell me i was the only person with issue’s. They where much longer and taller than standard cossie items. Had to mod them myself and Martin at Reyland kindly made me custom bells and calliper brackets to mount the discs 5mm further away at no additional cost over a standard AP kit.
Mark Walker is absolutely hopeless

Yeah they look about 20-30mm longer than the standard ones (from arb hole to hub side). Hopefully just shortening the pins helps

Great vid Matt I can’t wait to be where you are fine tuning bits. I’ve the same roll bar set up. I’ll mod my compbrake tca’s to attach the rose joints that bolt to the blades

Thanks mate , and yea its nice position to be in , I wish now I'd have kept my combrake TCA's as this would be in now , but easy little mod now and it will all fit .

I think so yea , it's been brought to my attention that it may not have enough pivot on the bearing, if this is the case then the lower joint is too big , I think im going to ring MK Monday and explain it needs to be right rather than fuck about.
Once one I'll have it all set up properly ( Geometry)

Last night given I've a trapped nerve in my neck I got stuck in and got the coil overs off to change the top bearings, I actually found the real issue ..there should be a second nut to lock down the billet top plate to lock the springs down , however it seems I missed them off and hence the coils spun and sounded bound .so easy fix and new bearings in anyway.
Also I'm very happy with how good condition they are to say they have done 12k mileage for 2 years in all weathers , can only thank the coating I coated then in .
Even the gearbox was coating.

Little update.
So I've removed my Gated sump and sold it on , I've also made the call to MUZ @ G.O.N.E for a new Gated sump but with a fitting in to accept a return from my breather kit .. coil overs are now back on and need setting up ..also Mark at MK will have sorted my TCA's and should be back this week and should now fit , so feeling hopeful .

10K+ Poster!!
Did you use Acf coating on the Shox? Or something else….I can’t believe how untarnished they look
