Striaght on to the rust repair.

New hydraulic suspension also fitted in

Widearch fabrication om the rear, didn't do the front as i personally prefer tbe rear to be wider om cars.
Initial interior mods, nothing fancy apart from the porshce seats.

End result, a lot more was corrected and changed after this point, but I was happy at the time untill I rolled her into my garage and she's been inside and still worked on to this day.

I can see this turning into a very mixed bag discussion

Personally i like the overall look, just not the stretched tyres! Think they look shite (cambers a bit much but appreciate the air ride is at its lowest).

Any pics of the ride pumped up a bit?

I'm sure the non stance guys will be a lot happier with this.

Cosworth wheels for daily use.

I do appreciate the amount of time and effort that has gone into this, well done. But I've got to agree with the stretched tyre thing. Escos wheels suit it so much more.

Pretty much up to date now, started doing the engine bay 2 weeks ago.
Whole load of new parts as everything was in quite a bad state.
Not after concourse, but just very clean.
intend on using the car regularly.

FRP inlet. 😊😁

US spec side lights too. 😊(Before I got the inlet on)

The mad stance is mainly for show purpose and will still be going down that route as I like the look, can understand it's not to everyone's taste, and definitely not very popular in the ford scene, but it's what I like. 😊😉
Plus it's like a 20min job to remove camber and put straight wheels back on, I like both looks.
Thanks for the nice comments too guys.
Appreciate it.

Split rims which I am also currently building for the fiesta. Only 2 sets in the world.

This is cool.....2 different looks from minimal work. Well done.....very different on the ford scene which in my opinion has gone a bit stale.

Got to admit I like all the looks except when it was on the purple rims with the camber.

Think the escos rims are my favourite, always loved them. Would look good in white as well.

I like the steering wheel and plasma's. Good look.

What model porsche was the seats out? some of the early porsches have really deep bolsters on them.

Thanks mate, glad you like it.
do have to agree with the purple wheels, They were 14s, so looked really small and needed too much camber to get the arch to lip (fitment look). Never end up using them and sold them on last year.

Seats I believe are Tombstones from a 2002 boxter.

I like it, its different. Granted i think stretch tyres are slightly gay but thats cause i am track person.

The only thing that does get on my tits is tyre rotation is wrong lol. But that also goes to show i must of had interest also.

Good effort in turning what i class a boring car into summit cool.

Done a risky purchase this week, and I'm glad I done it!

Got my self a genuine Escort cosworth dashboard.
(Sorry to the escort owners)

Found it pretty cheapish so I had to take it.
I've always wanted to replace the factory fiesta dashboard as they are just plain ugly.
The holes are slightly off on the sides, but I will work something out.
Now just to break the bank trying to get the centre console, banana pod and all the other pieces.
Here's some trial pictures of it on.

Sourced some new parts for the cosworth dashboard, they didn't come cheap.

Had to raise the handbrake slightly as it sits way to low for the centre console.
And gear stick isn't central with the centre console either, bit of contact when Going into 1st, 3rd and 5th gear.

Just a mock up too see how it all sits.
Excuse the mess.

Also Sold the porshce seats last week too, reason for this is the price of getting them retrimmed wasn't worth it, so I thought I'd just roam ebay to find some clean leather seats and came across these C63 AMG seats at a decent price.

And thats everything in.
Really happy with how it's turned out, so cosy inside.
Just to find more of the missing dashboard pieces now.

Little update.
Decided to lose the heat shield, huge mess behind it.
Heat shield off.

decided to smooth parts of the bay and tuck some things out the way, not a fully smoothed bay, but just a much cleaner look.

So removed the heater matrix, wiper mechanism & polent filter.

Started tucking away the fuse box into the existing holese, fuse box will come down behind the dash where i can mount them amd still have access to them.
Everything tucked in, i did cut into the metal to drop the wires in, instead of following all the wires and disconnecting everything, just saves a lot of time plus it was quite rusty in the area so good excuse to cut through.
Will weld the cuts and sort the surface rust and get it all smooth after.
Then decided to have the engine bay black instead of silver, so the spikes and shiney bits stand out a lot more, oh and also installed some lower gold heat shield where the old lower shield was removed.

Experimented with yellow headlights too. Not sure if i'm liking it.

Then removed the header tank, got a new tank on the way which i will mount on the inner drivers side wing so its completely hidden.

Also got my self a ipad mini for the dash and some more chrome..

Wires all tucked away behind the dash & all the existing holes filled.
Smoothed all the holes on the slam panel.

Relocated the header tank behind the drivers side wing, got this off a Saab 9-3.
Mounted and plumbed in, cap can be easily removed when the hydraulics are all the way up, and the tank can be filled with a hose and funnel from above..
Ford bantam headlights i modifed from south africa. Very hard to get hold of and never seen another fiesta with them.

Finally found a set of MHW rear lights. 😉
Started to remove the coloured filters as they look fugly...
Filters removed and smoked bulbs in

And got her running again today after a good few months of sitting still, racing puma map went in too.

Did have a problem with the coolant tank being too low, as the engine got warmer the water in the tank was rising which isn't a good sign.
Managed to move the expansion tank up a few more cm's and everything now runs perfectly. 😁
Still lots of small bits to be done on the engine bay, but really happy with how it's turned out so far.

Agreed! I'm no fan of massive camber or stretched tyres, but that could look pretty cool with minimal camber and Escos wheels (in silver of course, not bloody black!!!!)

+1 on the effort put into this, but not really my cuppa.
