Little update.
Been wanting to do this for a while..
R32 diffuser / exhaust.

Diffuser part cut out and trimmed to size.

Still early stages of sanding and filling.

Oh and got some fiesta mk7.5 sideskirt lips (extensions). Almost perfect fit, just slightly too long so will require a bit of trimming.

I was almost done with the engine bay, but later decided that I want to smooth some more areas.
Battery has been relocated to the boot and I’m currently doing a ABS delete to remove the horrible pump in the engine bay..

Battery out
Master cylinder and ABS gone.
And Started smoothing

Hopefully have the engine bay done in the next few days, just need to sort the new brake lines and hopefully then I can take the car out the garage for some better photos of the progress!

Been a while!

decided to go all out and fully smooth the engine bay!
so I’ve got the pedals out, servo, brake bar, power steering rack all out!
I have a pedal box and non power steering rack on the way to complete the look.

I then smoothed over the wheel liner and where the original air filter used to go to give a cleaner look.
i did try welding, but I’m absolutely terrible at it and I know a gassless welder definitely doesn’t help so majority was done by fibreglass with just a few tac welded strips underneath...

New Alloy radiator, new fan and new coil pack fitted! I also extended the engine cover to hide the fuel rail a little better.

Thanks guys! It was a big learning process a long the way, but definitely worth it once you start to see results.

Finally got some tyres on the split rims (show purpose)
and a rear disc brake setup from a ST150 so I can get rid of the drum brakes!

Nice work, have you managed to keep the abs working with the rear disc setup? If so, how have you done it?
