the Blasters a grand job as the big fella said were only really cleaning off the crap and a quick fly over where needs priming saves ALOT of sanding, it leaves it ready to be cleaned & primed. a decent compressor is more important I'm using a 150L that shifts 15cfm ideally 200L is what ya want,
took the guts of 5days to fully blast a mk3 capri and its messy as fook, and never use normal sand,

I used kiln sand works just as good at half the price

Lot of work there mate but we'll worth it. I know how you feel when you find a bit more rot than you was expecting lol. If you get 5 check my post out of my combi im restoring. Keep up the good work

Do you find that it's a real pain trying to get the shot blasting media out of the box sections ?

I did a similar thing to my Sierra and I must of spun it a hundred times on the spit and blasted it with an air line chasing it all out

camera shots can be deceiving to the eye. I was going to fish for a few tips if you had pulled it as I've got to do mine as the bm is a few inches wider than me combi. Keep up the good work and keep pics rolling mate

 

yeah my camera is not merry best.keep a look in cos ill be putting up gearbox and engine pics tonight or in morning.iv loads pictures i haven posted yet so dont mind the dates as i was holding out til i had the item i was cleaning finished ..thanks mate hows yours coming along must have look
