good base car to start with have to ask why do you want to change the hubs as st170 front brakes fit on the escort hubs just fine with either mondeo/st170 300mm calipers
Well i managed to get her in the workshop tonight, after getting my wheels off to get powdercoated i looked at how bad the rust was and well, im guna need new sills.... and arches both sides.
Best place to get sills and rear arches?
I also need to replace the rear bumper but i want something nicer as i dont like the one on it any suggestions?
Well my st170 disc's calipers and stub axles arrived so i started with the conversion, got it all sorted after figuring out how it all works, only problem i had was the length of my flexi, i had to extend it, thank god i had the right brake unions in the shop, Peadal fells spongey but i think the brake fluid needs changing for sure!
When i fit the new arches ill have to widen them a fair bit for my 17's to fit
Had my wheels powder coated by my brother, he owns a Tag-z makes and powder coats steel products bought some funky powder off prismaticpowders.com
a nice original rear bumper with a difference is the one they fitted on some cabriolets, it was the RS option one a bit fatter and more curvy, and damn thats a lot of rust if it were me it would be broken for parts already lol, good you have the early Si interior as a pair of mk6 rs2000 recaros will match rest of interior perfect and save reparing drivers seat too
