Small update for you....
Bought some bits to run a direct 12V supply to fuel pump, to get rid of the old loom running under the car, now the original pump feed fires up a new relay, running my new cabling, The earth for the pump goes direct back to the battery
only thing I gotta do to sort it is source a new plug for the top of the tank (as per pics) 
Oh and just a little note also, I have dropped all my old engine bits to Harvey Gibbs @ SCS
I just KNEW I was gonna end up going silly 
basic spec....
big wing baffled sump
std crank
std rods
lowered comp pistons with valve cutouts
BRAND spanking new block, which will be Longstudded
GENUINE WRC headgasket
Head, slight work around valve seat area, other than that std, obviously new guides lifters etc
Light Blue injectors
T34
FULL Dyno map by Harvey Gibbs and Ahmed Bayjoo
Other stuff I gotta sort,
New bosch 023 fuel pump
Alcon 6 Paddle clutch
Custom genuine PECTEL Engine loom
dizzyless ignition (coil pack)
that little lot will come in at a shade over 6k

No point going greys, AFAIK Power is limited by my turbo and head/cams Benn. Well I just go on the advise of my engine builder lol.

All I wanted was a SAFE STRONG reliable STG III, hence the WRC gasket and long studs, aswell as new block and injectors, the rest is just incidental so more power too will defo soften the blow

I don't think you ever get used to it, but once it's been run in, and you put your foot down when it's fully mapped/ set up, you soon forget about the big bill you paid out......Until your bank writes to you at least

Done it
Old pins and loom removed from plug
Old wire and new stuff
All soldered to the pins and slotted back in.. I had to open up the plastic a little to take the larger cable but its pukka!! (Took long enough though )

All sorts including fuel filter, engine mounts, fuel tanks seal ring, bits and pieces for the steering column, anti-freeze couple of driveshaft seals etc..
New clutch... (Ł100) Proper AP/Borg&Beck item I'll be using the cover and bearing, and getting an Alcon plate from Mike
Got my powdercoating back now too.. Another 100 quid

Power steering/alternator bracket
Bits n pieces
My new 023 fuel pump, courtesy of Phil (IMA) .. cheers mate
