Yes the blasting is a great process it removes all the rust and paint, I had little pin holes in the front bulk head after the blasting that I would not have seen and once its back on the road rain would of got in and started the damp again.

sorry about the quality of picture it was taken with my phone. so now the rear floor is tacked all round ready for welding, also on this pic you can see the sills have been connected, I'm just loving the tunnel so easy to fit, the next pic shows it from the front.

I have been busy at work and am sorry for the lack of update. I have been down a few hours over the last week and got the car on the spit ready to replace the chassis etc. I have trimmed the metal around gearbox tunnel and welded the lip all round, I have also welded most of the floor welds on the under side shall get some pics next time there. I have bought a new camera

Ok bit quiet on here for a while as nothing has been done. I will be going down tomorrow (Thursday) to carry on with the task. I don't want to just leave it there and sell as a non finished project so a good hard kick up me own bum to get it closer to fitting all the new bits

After getting the bulkhead ready for the second fix I cut out the old diff tunnel and fitted the new one to allow the atlas axle to be fitted

Here you can see the 3 new floor pans and gearbox tunnel fitted and chassis centre section, I have the other side still to do but want to get the front leg repaired before cutting and pulling the old chassis centre section as it may go out of line.

Thanks Punter, I have been back down to the car today and welded the Heater bowl back into position and cut out all the rot on the inside of the chassis leg and welded new steel plates flush and they are looking good. There are few more bits to do. Patch on boot floor, o/s outer sill lower area where it welds to the floor, and 2 bits on the top of inner wings where they weld onto the bulk head. Once these areas have been done I will be fitting the rear alloy arches.

I haven't been down for a few weeks but I have been collecting some goodies for it, I have the rear bilstein suspension for the turreted mounts, pair of bilstein coil overs with 300/70 inserts, cossie rear calipers and princess 4 pots for the front, 2.4 quick rack with all new track rod ends, New fully adjustable tca's, capri rear axle and the panard rod kit. The only thing I need to get now is the compression struts for the front and that will be every thing I need to get this little baby rolling after the re-spray. Still a long way to go before that though so I will get back into it in the next week.
