Got the front wings fitted and the shell in paint now, just doors and arches left to do as I'm hoping to get carbon bonnet and boot lid... If I can get hold of anybody to make them! Also got the arches fitting nicely.... Here's a few pics of what I've been up to.

Cheers for the comments guys
Yep it's Paris blue
I'm sure there'll be some videos
I repair forklift trucks for a living... I would love to be able to this kind of thing full time though
Going to be moving on to the engine soon so I'm after some advice..looking to run around the 400bhp mark just wanting to know peoples opions on the best way to achieve this... Stick with standard management or aftermarket? and what tuners to use?

I love Omex management. it's easier than most to navigate, and most mappers are very familiar with it, DTA is also very good, but fewer mappers know their way around it. Depends on budget really, you could go MoTec, Pectel etc if you have the ŁŁŁŁŁ.
If you can be bothered ripping a cossie loom to bits etc there's nothing wrong with firing a chip in, but with aftermarket stuff the loom can be custom built, and will be a lot tidier.

So good to see a RWD conversion that isn't just the floor of another car welded onto a shell. Fantastic project mate, absolutely stunning job so far.

Epic work and a true inspiration to me, seeing this amount of hard work and dedication has inspired me to go for the rear wheel drive conversion on my fiesta, and spend the next 12 months covered in grinder sparks.
Just a few questions :-
what if any inspection is needed after radically altering the body shell/chassis IVA SVA or engineers report
If the floor pan is being replaced with one with a tunnel, what happens to the chassis number and will it need a VIC check or a Q plate to resister it after ???
thanks

Thought I'd bring this back up with a small update, got all my brakes on now pipes etc went for wilwood 4 pots on the front with a 310x 32mm disc nice easy bolt on job had to paint the calipers red though :cool!: and standard cossie rear calipers with grooved discs on the rear.
Got my carbon door cards fitted up aswell and many other other little jobs.
Also stripped the engine down and sent that of for machine work to be done, rebore, crank grind, head overhaul etc etc.
And the prop is away being shortened and balanced up so it's 100%, don't want that coming through the floor.

Time for an update got the dash built and in had it flocked by raj at autoflock, give him call if you need any flocking done really nice guy and great work. Engines built an in had a new loom made for the cossie running a p8 ecu with all the trimmings ALS,wasted spark, etc got the wheels refured and new toyo r888s ( although I made need to change the front tyres for a different size). Still got a fair bit to but I'd like to get it to ford fair this year, even if it is on the trailer. It needs a few adjustments on the ride hide height etc but here's a few pics as it sits today
