It was second hand. I managed to get out for £200, had to travel wales to get it though.

cheers for the comments. i didn't want to go the usual route of welding a sierra floor in as i didn't want to compromise the suspension points. my idea is to get it handling the best i can then worry about power after.

yes. using double arm top and bottom, not using uprights. thinking of mounting the shocks with a rocker arm inside the car. what weight are the ally wrc hubs you sell? pm me if you want.

hi john
sounds good ,i would just do a bespoke upright to suite double a arm , i would defo go inboard coilover ,also make sure you work out your roll centre atc to suite your wheel offset etc and with double a arm you can build in antidive and squat etc

for a very simple set up i would go something like this , plus its very light a very adjustable ,also puts shocks in a good position so o need to use expensive shocks with remote or internal bladders etc

should,nt the top & bottom link arms be the same length & parallel to each other so the camber do not change during suspension travel ?

No. bottom arm should be parallel to the road, top arm should be shorter than the bottom one and angled slightly to promote slight camber change during compression.
