at the moment your guess is as good as mine
i cant see it being out this year, its march now could be may /june time before its comeing home for paint . i do have all parts to build it with apart from a few very small things, i need fuel pipeing and brake pipeing ect , and a loom made to link the dash to the ecu .and a few engine bay tank, the tanks will have to be made when every thing else is in place.
all the paint work will be done at nights and the odd day off, in and around my own job. i work nights to a body repair man so if i do all the prep work it will save me money . again i have all the paint ect needed for the job.
ideal i want it finished by end of year and have all running in problems sorted out for start of next year .
thanks steven

Domanic and the mc neill team have been workin a bit on my car , in between there other work .
eamon has been hard at it setting up the rear suspenion , sorting out the bump stear ect . It took 2 days to sort the rear , the pick up points on the cradle needed a small modd .
they take measure ments on the suspenion travel for every inch up and down , so it takes time
i just need mk motorsport now to make me the longer link bars for my rear as the fiesta is wider than a wrc escort and the rose joints are screwed out that far theres not enough thread in the bar left .
nice clean speed line fitted

i also had a delivery from pro alloy , its my new 45lt fuel cell , and swirl pot , and fuel guage .
must say what a fast service i had from alex at pro alloy top fella .

its getting there it just takes time when almost every thing has to be custom fitted .
the parts and materials came to make the exhaust system . so as soon as the engine mounts have been made and its bolted in place they can get on with makeing it up. theres not much room in the tunnel with the gear box and the prop .
i need the seats to come before we can get the peddal box mounted .i will need to be there to get seat position right and peddals in the correct place .
thanks steven

small up date
called with domanic and the lads today to have a little look see at my toy. but went with out my camera will get photos next week when i call again.
the rear suspenion is now fully fitted , rear diff ect , the drive shafts are bolted up to the wheel side wateing on spacers to be made for the inner diff side .
doors are now fitted to get the gaps correct so that the front wings can be fitted . eamon is going to cut the inner skin out of the doors to make them light and remove the safety bars out of them also , there will only be enough metal left and no more to mount the electric window motors as i want to keep them .
the rear bumber was sitting so i think its next on his list .
the engine is also in its proper place so they are starting to make my exhaust .
more up dates and photos soon.
thanks steven

It will be worth the wait I'm sure.
It is pretty much done. Picking it up from Motorsport developments next week. It's had some much needed goodies fitted by them.
Then need to find tyres as r888's are a bit hard to get hold of at the moment
