Hello all, after rebuilding my Fiesta 1.6 cvh turbo engine with stock parts,i buyed another 1.6l cvh frst engine and i want to start tuning it. All i want is to get the best from this 1.6 and after this(next year) i will make a 2.1 zetec turbo .
All i want to know now is what power will make the engine with the parts i have buyed and what parts are a loss of money : new forged pistons and rods(wossner) ,All ARP bolts , MLS head gasket(cometic) , very large intercooler, 255lph walbro fuel pump ,350cmc injectors,fse power boost valve, forge blow off , bailey breather,AP Racing clutch CP2015-8, stock flywheel , megasquirt ms2 management ,Innovate wide band Lambda , Fiat Coupe t28 turbo , 60cm downpipe + all exhaust(stainless steel) in 60cm,19 raw oil cooler .
For the cylinder head i didn`t know what to buy because here in Romania i didn`t find somebody to port or polish...and i don`t know wich cam is the best for the 1.6 turbo engine...So,i need a liitle help here.I want to start building the engine in 2 weeks
Is there somebody who pushed to the limits the cvh engine ?And what results ?

think with that little lot your power will be what ever the turbo can blow

should be a strong little engine i think

regarding the comment s to pushing the limit of the cvh give nms a bell

karl made comment of 500 bhp from a cvh

cam wise im pretty sure the common one seems to be the piper 285t2 ? there might be better ones out there now though.

with the set up you put above you should see some decent power
