Thin carbon can be quite flexi so I bought thin one sided carbon sheet...cut it in half and sandwiched them together with resin...
Mask when cutting to avoid the edges chipping.
There solid!
I need a spare bootlid then I'm fitting it all up...the wing I have at the moment is actualy plastic but it's merely so I can mess around when fitting it all up.
If I like it I'll buy a super wide c-west jobie...

I've got some 3 ply carbon here which I could do that with, I guess my concern is their going to need to be just under 20" tall and I'm hanging a composite 6ft wide spoiler off them so I want to be sure they won't snap !
I guess I'll have to try it out in steel so I know the design is right then cut the carbon.
What resin did you use ?
Cool car though, you will no doubt be buying parts off my mate at driftbitz, if you haven't already !

Got the diff out today, will get it along to Kyle at chizfab for welding in the next week...
Also need to find another bootlid to cut up a little to fit the wing.
That's new year out the way so roll on the drifting!
Gonna fit aerocatches in the bonnet tomorrow....

Rear bumper smashed up a bit ,since these pics at the last drift day...easily repaired with some zip ties tho
