depends on what you mean by big power

330hp is big to some
500hp is small to others

what do you consider to be big power?

Most powerful on here is probably Rod's Saph, but there's loads that vary from 380bhp up to 800+. Depends how deep your pockets are

A lot

Basics that come to mind are starting with a good 200 block, Nikasil liners etc.

The graph gives some indication of spool its of course a big compromise for road use but this car was built for a purpose.
This was on a GT42 so we have more Power at the topend now on the GTX4202, we guess at 860 ish but its enough anyway.

The GTX42 on the car a tight fit

standard block
you may want to machine the block for long studs
standard comp
worked head if funds allow
Siemens 83's injectors
standard bottom end but machine the pistons for valve pockets
change the inlet cam for a bd14
decent inlet, you might get away with a 4x4 with spacer, if not hart or similar
choice of turbos IMO, t38, or gt3071, or whatever your tuner decides is best.

Yes !!
The gas potential is 200 jets 'pushed' with Nitrogen, the experts tell me at 2.9bar thats around 300bhp. We cant risk all of that but engine with ignition taken out & a tad less boost with 100 jets should see around 920bhp its what we will risk down Brunters. Its either 215mph or a big bang .

You have way over specced your engine for the amount of power you are looking at, for that you don't need to do anything to the internals, it's usually a larger turbo (T34) your injectors and a 3 BAR MAP sensor, in other words your looking at stage 3, the intercooler would be a good idea though.

Thanks Martin............yes, Engine already built and ready to be dropped in - just waiting to buy a new 6 paddle AP Clutch. So everything mentioned is already a goer !!!

I have tried to over engineer everything to gain some reliability.........as I also plan to do some Track Days etc.

The idea behind the Internals was just in case I decided to chase some bigger power in the future.

So, 350 looks realistic so far ?

Think the only thing that would hold back that spec is the T34 .... But sure if you get it mapped and dont mind running a good amount of boost it will run 400+bhp as had 412bhp from one but was built as a round town toy

What sort of P.S.I. do I need to run............????

That's one part I'm unsure about - any advise would be great.

Guessing I need to run the thing in first - do you do this on a lower boost and then increase once this process is complete ????
