Managed to fir the bigger discs over last few days, had to grind more of the carrier that planned but they look good.

Having a right game bleeding up again though and Dave's chucked his easibleed kit away so popping over to Ians on Saturday for helping hand as got to drop him some cash any way for some alloy work he's done for me recently for L2.

Quickshift fitted too but its hitting exhaust which I don't seem to be able to avoid as RS2K system has a kink to avoid this which mine doesn't. Last shifter on it was 1" shallower so didn't hit :s

Plus I need to gunk up exhaust join now as its blowing lol

Got new bib too but collect at FF from Ian.

They're ST170 discs I think, 300mm.

Are they ST170 calipers too.

No mate the RS callipers are spaced out for the bigger disc with billet spacer but the pad still overs all of the disc area.

This running a cat kev I have a rs2k decat was going to chop it up for my tdi bit its not big enough so I may aswell sell it.

But you have just reminded me I have a flexi pipe de-cat some where which may give me the room I need for shifter.

Wacked some Dynamat in the back of the van today as it gets quite loud inside, it seems to have helped it.





Brake peddle still not 100% so possibly have to get all four wheels off next weekend and pressurise the system try and get it working right.

All ready for Ford Fair, hover board mod added and flux capacitor fitted, also brakes easibled as was full of air to the rear again!

As you know about the i4 engine do you know anything about using one rwd what mods etc and how easy is it to use the std injection systen in a rwd set up???

Hi bud, depends on what car/bulk head clearance you have tbh as the thermostat housing is an issue with clearance.

if you have no clearance you'd be best fitting a 2.3 as the 2.3 head has the water way on the side of it, can't remember what the 2.0 Scorpio's did though as they would have had same issue. I have a 2.0 Scorpio engine in a garage, I'll have a look at it for you.

Injection wise use standard RS injectors in the Scorpio inlet system or make / buy a custom inlet, www.ALDevelopments.com would make you one to fit.

Hope that helps, as said I'll go look at the 2.0 I have for you too.
