To explane as simple as possible.
The rear beam is move to sit above the leaf springs, like on the old MK1/2 escorts, this slamms the van on it's arse.
To compensate for this, the mounting points at the rear of the van have been remade about 2 inch longer iirc, this makes the van sit where I want it to.
The discs are taken from a MK5/6 escort and grafter onto the van beam, I didn't do this but, they arent a strate fit, you have to open out the centre of the hub some what afaik.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Dave bud, will pop over soon with the Eaziblled, if you need it soon though just call me mate.
Tuck her to Himley Hal the weekend, went down quite well with people there.
Used her to take hoist back to unit today, also a set of alloys, the back end didn't drop one bit!
Thought it may have.
Got chatting to a lad weekend who lowered a desiel van, and put Pug 106 rear struts on it to stiffen it up, says they fit on easy enough but I'm not sure mine need changing after today.

The van doing what it was built for!
Five stripped engines, 4 x 2.0's and 1 x 2.3, all fucked, could have been kept for rebores but got to many engines in the unit now. Also two had cranks in but would have needed re-grinds, and I have enough mint ones on shelf too so got rid, I am a bit of a horder lol
360KG of engines lol
Van hardly moved on rear end...
On the bridge -
Van wieghts 1115KG
Not to bad I thought as it now has full trim and also a stereo system in it, sub in back etc...
Not had a sub for years lol

I have most everything now to complete the conversion -
2300 Galaxy engine, same as RS but larger bores, new cast from ford thoughm not an overbore.
Using 2000 crank, 5mm shorter throw, bringing comp to 8:6-1, 2.2 stroker, no need for skimming pistons.
Standard cams, they seem to like turbo, as Tony has them in his 2.3 turbo runing 305BHP.
200SX Manifold grafted to RS flange.
Turbo, unknown, it's new for Skyline, T3/4?
200SX injecters, as they fit in the RS fuel rail and just have to modify loom.
M-Tech V4 ECU, going to be using Tony's 200BHP map from his Emerald, if I can get it converted to run on the M-Tech, need to get loom fixed for the M-Tech though.
It's a budget Turbo build mate, but shoud see 200+BHP, I'll push it till it pops to find the limit if need be, then chuck another in it, once limit found.

Will do yes, got to pick up an intercoller kit off of egay, just a universal one. Also need exhaust fabricating too, not messed with turbo's much but I am aware they don't need to much back preasure?
May just run it out of the front bumper or short with side exit.
Hopefully get it all done over winter.
