That's not to say it's worth nothing lol

My 2.2 Turbo can start being worked on now ready to go in,just got to buy myself pipe work andintercooler etc

Also make a loom for the ECU I'm using.

Yeah. I was thinking as having one as a project as my mum likes escort vans. And i have lots of rs2000 bits. But cant now. Just boughtba mini shell. Is the 2.2 a mix of 2.3 crank with 2 litre rods? Or the other way round? Or the 2 litre head on the 2.3 block? Sounds interesting either way. Looking forward tonupdates. The van looks mean!!

Yea it will take some time (money) as it was an impulsive buy really, needs repainting, New rear arches some welding to the back panel. It's not like its a rebuild but I'm under strict instruction to finish the house now so wife is boss.

The 2.2 is a 2.3 with a 2.0 crank in it pal, can be done either way though depnding on what pistons and rods you chose to use.

I've got a Mini shell also, got it for my son, another project lol

The vans having a few issues atm
The brakes will not bleed up and they are defeating me atm!

But thats not the worst, driving it today up to the unit, the heater matrix blew up, sending scolding hot engine water all over me through al the heater vents!

Nearly crashed the van pmsl

I had to remove the matix pipes from the bulk head and join them together diverting water away from the matrix.

Never known one blow up before.

I had lost the plot with the van, decided to run eazibleed back to Daves, and text Ian (ColleyST200) and arranged to pop to his on the way to scratch heads over the vans brake issues, Ian and his pal Rex decided to get possessed with trying to fix it lol

I felt useless at one point and walked away to look at Rex's escos.

End result is currently thinking the flexi pipes are causing the issues and going to get some braded ones in the week.

Some pics...

And after all their hard work they wouldnt even take a drink off of me for their help!

Again thanks to David, Ian and Rex for all ya support with me van today, true gents!

They are legends!

I have been going at this van like a bull in a china shop trying to keep my mind occupied for a complete week now since losing my rotty, Chaos.

That seems to have been my problem, I made a school boy error and didn't even spot it untill today.

I had fitted the rear callipers upside down to the bleed nipple was at the bottom, I know the correct way they shpuld be fitted, just with all the rushing I didn't once notice!

Propper stupid thing to do but, we're all humen eh.

All working now.
