With a busy final year in school progress had been sadly slow the past 6 months with only really having a few hours max on a Sunday .

Fitted blue carpet from low mileage car and at the same time collected my front and rear seats, still undecided whether to get the cossy recaros upholstered.

Also is it worth fitting a 1300 pinto head to my 1600 to raise CR , or is there quite abit of work needed ? Larger valves and so on

Lovely!

No idea about your head swap!

Just run it as a standard 1.6 until you can insure a bigger engine - but to be honest it'll be a few quid to insure it as it is wont it.

Really love the idea of having the car at your age & then upgrading the engine every two to three years until you end up with a full on YB!

Wish I'd done something like that mate.

It's looking awesome by the way!

Wicked stuff! Looks sooo clean! I'm getting a 4i shell to turn into a cosworth. Seeing this makes me want to spray it white.

Yeah I think your right, I'm leaving the engine until last on the list and I will decide then what to drop in, don't fancy spending any money on a 1.6 haha

One day il have a yb in there , or maybe something a bit different , always fancied a 2.1 pinto on 45s !

Cheers for the comment

Yeah 4i shell would be a much better base or possible 2.0 with the larger tunnel, just remember white is a nightmare to keep clean, mine doesn't leave the garage and its always filthy haha

Cheers

Picked up a set of saph items and they now fit nicely

The mounting holes are in a different place so need drilled to fit

Fitted door cards, dash and rear seats

The interior won't be everyone's cup of tea, but its not going to be badged as a cossy so doesn't bother me , thinking about getting a set of black cossy leather and ghia rear leather

I like them but wont 15@s look too small? A sierra's quite a large car, would look better on 17's imo. But they are very nice

Oh and great work so far.

Yeah I know what u mean , they will look lost inside the arches unless the car is lowered considerably , 17s will be the better option I reckon

I haven't really checked Insurance yet as the car is still a few months of completion, but that sounds like a good option anyway
