There you go mate,
Press the image button two along from the smiley face and paste your link in the box that pops up.
IMO the guys above are spot on. You can screw a bit over 200bhp out of an st200 in the real world, or you can build a 250bhp zetec turbo for peanuts, it'll be a hoot to drive, be worth more and cost you less (plus you might stand a chance of insuring the thing).
Of your dead set then fair play, they do sound awesome with the right exhaust and no cats.
Get a scrap engine first, offer it upto the shell and see how much of a ball ache it is, i suspect MAJOR. Then buy a zetec.
Rob,

Rob,
nope, sticking with the v6, butchered a mondy estate for the engine, it runs sweet just needs some tlc n a clean n it will be great, should have mounts by wkend n havin special slam panel made,
Good luck hope you get it to work try an fit st200 parts or get the full st lump once its running its a more sporty lump. how are you dealing with the PATS system your using the transponder ring key chips and mondo ecu ?
IMO matey, go for the st220 3.0 lump, 220hp straight out the box, easy to get even more out of with just a decat and remap, bags of torque, the st220 is no slouch and that weighs basically 2tonne..
iv had all 3, st24, st200 and the 220. the 24 and 200 run that crap imrc system that never works properly aswell..the 3.0 is just a different animal.
imagine what it would be like in the lighweight mk4 shell..
its the lightest and strongest and most reliable v6 ford have built.
good luck either way, stick with it

The engine looks like a tight fit in the bay.It looks good though.Keep the updates coming. If you remove the imrc(that box which is bolted to the front cam cover. The part with the cable going into it)
From the manifold to somewhere where it wont get any heat it will work better.

yes im using mondy box and as many things from the mondy that I can, lol,,, stuck at the min about the radiator though, mondy one too big, anyone got any ideas, will a turbo rad n twin fans be man enough ????
i got a granada one in mine at the front and it lines up nicely with holes in the front slam pannel just made lil brackets check out my thread. i dunno which way your water pipes are though so it could make it difficult
looks good think you may have to cut more from the front for your rad then give the dimentions to a rad specialist to see what fits , tube manafolds would gain you some room but do cost a lot , and a turbo would be good thinking of puting a turbo on mine keep going will be a neat setup !
Just stumbled on this thread, I like guy's like you that do something a little different, but just wondering what engine management system are you using, it's just that the ford system is a bit crap also the engine runs on 12 of it's valves most of the time being controlled by a butterfly system in the lower manifold which holds them back a bit.
I've just fitted one of these lumps in to a MK1 Escort on a Sierra floor pan just to give everything a bit more room, but converted all the management to Microsquirt system, the difference to that engine is unbelievable
