It won't fit, it's too wide to fit between the chassis legs..... This has been tried and unfortunately failed before both on mk1 focus's and connects.

Know someone who had one in his connect at least 18 months ago

But unfortunatly I've been sworn to secrecy as to who it was

Small update. Lots of stuff going for blasting this week. I will throw up some pictures as soon as they are back from powdercoating.

Had my mate round Sat morning to start touching up the engine bay. Sadly the thunder storm my way put pay to that. Hopefully we will get it finished in the week.

I have reverted back to the original idea of the ST170 lump. Shortage of options really, I never knew just how hard the RS stuff would be to source. Hopefully my second ST170 lump will be arriving shortly.

Anyone any idea what Focus the Tranny Connect is based on. I bought a powerflex bush kit for the van and have since found it doesn't fit. Any ideas appreciated. The anti-roll bar bushed are way too small and the other pieces for the front wishbones are a completely different design ?

More updates later in the week.

Chris

It's based loosely on the mk1 focus, which all have the same suspension components. The connect might be a bit different though due to the weight it has to carry etc.
