Mk2 focus rs with some changes!! finished!! 11/8/11
Well my Dad owns a Focus rs mk2 in white, hes had it from new and has had the JS400 kit fitted to it and loves it, the part he doesnt like now is the colour, so basically after a bit of a search on the net and some talk he has decided to go from this
to this
only his will be wearing a set of satin black MO 1890's, the idea is that not many red ones exhist so why not?, the car is going in monday to be stripped and catagorised then the paint shop said they want a month to do the work, i will be adding pics of the work etc as it goes, i expect the purists among you wont like the idea of a colour change but if its done properly with every nook and cranny painted proessionally then why not ? i think it will look hard as nails and with the JS400 kit, lowered on avo springs and the colour it should stand out and be a fun car.

Looks smart in red. Mind you I think white is the best of the colours out for them, green is ok but I couldn't have it personally and that blue, wtf is that all about? Talk about bland, it's a very dull colour for a car like this.
Don't think you'll get much bother from 'purists' as they aren't exactly rare cars are they!
Looking forward to the progress shots.

Grey one looks the nuts. Gunmetal grey is my fav colour of all time. Ferrari and lambo's look awsome in that colour.
Anyway, I like the Rs in red, it is different (I haven't seen one) .. As for resale value, who cares.. I own a car to enjoy myself and not the next owner. I don't really care if it drops a few quid in price. If the bodyshop do a good enough job I'm sure it will be a sought after car when / if you sell it on later. I would rather have a decent colour change car than a bodged under bonnet job.

Ive also pm'd Dan @ fast ford to see if its something he might do a little feature on, who knows doesnt hurt to ask!
Also for people who might not know, this is a pic of the wheels we have chosen but obviously ours are satin black with black wheel nuts,

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Anyone else think the 18" MOs look lost on the FRS? Haven't seen one I've liked with them yet.
The Red will look good on the car - think it would look great with standard boots and dropped a bit.
