Id have taken it right down to a bare shell to be honest.
I bought a focus St170 to break that was silver but had been resprayed cadburys purple, and found no end of traces of silver everywhere on it and that had been a 2.5k respray job, it had been sprayed inside and out, door shuts, but in the engine bay there was hints of silver everywhere once we removed the engine, its made me cringe reading this cause i know people in the bodyshop trade and it seems a good effort has been made but for what the car is worth id have stripped it to a bare shell and then sprayed it, wouldnt take 2 minutes to find a white part somewhere on that,

The car has been painted to an excellent standard and the painter painted it as if it was his own and he said if we can find any White paint in the bay he'll give us our money back !! Seriously it's been blown in underneath and everywhere you can see, I expected criticism as it's a new car etc but I think people will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome.

I love the engineering that went into this cars suspension and engine and I think it's an amazing hothatch but oh my God do fords have crap interiors...3 shades of 90's japan grey and those horrendous blue inserts, the cheap center armrest console thingy with no rear vents or cupholders (which you get in a 1.6 skoda), I would retrim the lot TBH after all the work you did. Oh and what horrid plastic pipes over a performance engine...those designers need flogging!
Rant over, it's the drive that matters and I know it'll look stunning at the end!
