pretty much finished tacking up the downpipe this evening. A good few hours lying under the car getting all the angles right but it seems to be okay. Clearance is abit tight around the steering coupling but it clears so thats the main thing. Going to get it all tig welded up in the week and be the sensor boss's welding in too.Name:  IMG_0850-1.jpg

thats fecking awesome

these are daddy engines mate and tune very well

keep alook out for a mk2 frs turbo (jamsport have got a few spares) and 440cc injectors and you will have a strong 370bhp and massive torque

Brings back memories I owned a 100E back in 1963 came with a 1172cc sidevalve engine & 3 speed box. Would reach 75mph with a gale force wind behind it .
Great project keep up the good work & keep the pics comming, I like this .

not at the moment ive run out of money until payday next week, but i have been busy making the interior panels and carpet set, looks pretty awesome. will update photos asap.

mad project, i too have a complete 2.5t running gear, looking for a half tidy 4 door rwd escort to put it in

any ideas on wiring it up? i have the key etc with mine
i was thinking volvo box, mounts similar to yours
wanted to put it in my old mans escort but its restored and painted now and i havent got off me arse to work out the fitment

havent got that far just yet, i will be running vipec v88 management and getting a custom loom made to suite. It is a lot of work but its not really been done so its worth it i guess

hey, top class work!!!!!! im thinking of puting the 2.5 st engine in my cortina. is it a tall engine, have you dry sumped it for that reason?
does the mazda bellhousing also fit?
