Hey, new member here, have a big love for Ford's but Saab 9-5 came around at the right price and you don't see many on the roads let alone modified and I like to break the trend.

Guess I'll post a few pictures up of some of the initial problems then go into a bit of detail.



^^ Lip spoiler needs respraying as the paint is peeling off, also she needs new Saab badges all round and the motors in the wipers on the lights sorting out (reason for the brick, notorious for hand brake failures)



^^ Previous owner scraped her across something on the back n/s arch and bumper, just needs filling and painting



^^ More damage to the back bumper with the hole in the middle and the scrape on the right hand side



^^ Needs generally cleaning up, wheels need to be refurbed and get a lick of black paint and the whole car itself will be resprayed and colour coded in Honda Milano red as soon as my mate gets the time and we find a decent paint supplier.

Well that's the styling out the way.

She isn't mechanically sound, she's misfiring a lot but that should be sorted when she gets the new battery she needs and a new set of plugs and a general service.

She needs suspension bushes that will be replaced with powerflex ones, also needs n/s coil replacing but they'll be replaced with Koni springs and dampers

End target is a large comfy car with decent handling and around 300bhp, will take time to get there as this will be a budget build so might not be able to update as much as I'd like but there's no harm in trying.

Can anyone use photoshop and change the colour? Best I can do is a matt red not a metallic red like Milano red, any ideas?

Oh and I can't colour code it.
