ST170 kitcar issues.
Right, here's my problem. Im thinking of putting an ST170 lump in my MAC#1 kitcar, but I need some info before I buy the lump.
First off I want to run the standard management to help keep costs down, but I'm told I need to use the standard clocks, which is just not possible. Is there anyway around this or is this just not the case? The engine I'm looking at has: lump, ecu, transponder, loom, keys but no clocks.
Last of all is there anything that could cause a problem that I may not have thought about?
Cheers Gaz

Great stuff. I take it the datestream is a output from the ecu and requiers no inputs back from the clocks to the ecu, so just a simple case of blanking it off in the loom. you wouldnt have any drawing showing how this is done?
