rightyho anothe update for the readers ,
project starting to speed up now as the hard works done and the rots all gone ,
sealer work has bee sorted ,
note the areas where the beam mounts go were taped and wont get stonechipped
shell was then bagged ready for stonechip .....
a light coat of black stone chip was applied ( just what we had left ) before the 2 top coat was applied ...
we then gave it thirty min to start to firm up , and removed the poly mask and tapes , we found its essential to remove the masking tape whilst still soft or it can be difficult once the sealers hardend ...
and with the mask off
k's decided to break from the norm a little with this one , rather than the usuall stonechip the entire floor , or even the complete floorpans and all the rear end ( just leaving the tunnel in paint ) you can see from the above pictures that everywhere thats still red will be primerd , flatted and then painted 2k gloss black for ultimate shineyness and reflection , we reckon it should look well once the rear end assembly goes back in ,
cars not being built for concours , but k only knows 1 way to do things lol , and im pretty sure daz dosent plan on having it for a daily driver lol !!
hope you likey !!!

ohh and just incase someone asks " why didnt u just leave the entire floorpans bare "
obvioulsy the areas stonechipped are where the wheel travel is thus areas most likely to suffer with shit on the roads , if this was left it would be batted within a few thou miles ...

genrally we use gravitex mate , its cheap and the applicator guns are around 15 quid ,
iirc this stuff is indisa or sumthing like that , k knows ,
not cheap comes in a silicon style tube and requires a specifc gun ,
think the gun was Ł130 ish and the sealer/ chip is 100 ish quid a box ,
not cheap compared to gravi ect but from first experiences it looks a very good quality gear
see what its like when the primer / paints applied
hopefully in colour by the weekend with a but of luck ,
