Got a heat shield mate picked it up for me whilst on his hols needs a good clean but should be ok, got some cool fittings on the top. You can remove the top plate while it is in situe, anyone know where I can get these from?

Gave it a quick polish not come up too bad needs a bit more work

Here's an inside pic of the fastenings they just twist and release

He also managed to get me a 3dr front grill complete all the fastenings and tabs are there it's in great condition

Hi mate.
The fasteners are called Dzus fasteners. There used alot on race cars so check with race fabricators in your area or google dzus fasteners.

Hope that helps.

Looking awsome too mate!

Just put the car back together with the help of Paulsmk2 after the spigot bearing in the crank went, was screaming like hell cleaned the gearbox and put a new release bearing in too. Painted the propshaft and new stainless bolts in everything, hopefully all ok now its booked in on the performance direct insurance stand at classic ford day santa pod. Will get some pics up tomoz
