hired trailer straped car on and off to Rusty at union garage in Mossley....... silly me let it run out of oil!
suspected nackerd cam, maybe head, crank, and so on!







left the car with him on saterday went up sunday and he had just started at about 4pm went bak up 2day and Rusty had engine out pistons out head off cam out etc!

i knew turbo wasnt good as very smokey but when i grabbed the shaft jeeeeze at least 1cm movement in all directions!
cam doesnt look to b damaged so that good as cam and head are brand new from burton had about 3weeks use!
unsure about head needs lookin at to see if it can b used again.
conrods nackard crank nackard pistons not too good.

Rusty already sourced me new cvh tirbo engine 15000 miles since rebuild compleatly standerd owned by tech at ford so soundin good.

plan is check over new engine fit my head if still in good condition low comp pistons cossie 4x4 turbo in me escort housein. then all mapped by motorsport developments who i went to visit few weeks ago with a few mates and am very impressed by them there... plenty of time to talk to us all lol from series 2 turbos to fiesta turbos n a 106 with gti engine mad throttle boddies and stand alone engine management. nice guy didnt catch his name but feel i would trust them with my car... will update when i get more pics and work goes on

got me some nice bmw leather seats... shame they 3i seats not recaros but me mum can trim so she gonna see how the leather copes goin over me recaros... and rear 60-40 split is gonna b joined to form 1 and leather fitted to cabby rear bench. good job on the leather too bout 800 quid apparently spent on these no marks tears splits cracks anythin n i paid 100 for the lot bargin! lol

also got some cossie 4x4 stoppers just refurbin them at mine tho.

started collecting thing to efi, picked up a ofac ecu and efi xr3i loom 2nite, have adapter plate, beige's, inlet.

and yeah i really love the cossie wheels! sits very well on them.

quick question then..... Bumper insert, fit black like most rs's or white so not to break up the white, either way i need somethin putting there as i dont like the horrid gap, but i also dont want smooth bumpers, bit too far from standard lookin for me.


also i dont like the gap on the side of the cooler... never have, but dunno if i should fit grs that fills or keep space for oil cooler??
