Remote door pops
Hi to all and Merry Christmas.
Ive recently picked up a half baked combi van, when i say half baked i mean that its had the gutting shaved off, boot lid flushed and to the point the door handles and locks smoved over. The vans had a compleat respray but that is where the story ends. What i want to ask you guys is whats the best kitt to fit to said van so i can have the remote door popping action. Seems that doing it this way will be cheaper than trying to locate where the handles were as it is a outstanding job that the guy did.
what ever you come up with is a help..
many thanks
kris.

loads on there. Might be quicker, easier and cheaper to put a new pair of doors on though?

Did my mini years ago, rigged a central Locking motor/solenoid to the bar that normally attaches to the part of the lock which opens the door and wired a remote door lock keyfob affair to it,it had the effect of 'popping' the door when keyfob button was pressed
Downside is that I could only rig it up to the drivers door as I used a single channel transmitter and receiver,

lol thanks for the the link, ive thought about new doors but the color that the vans been sprayed is £90 a litre for base coat only so looking at it this way i think the remote might be the cheaper option, if the van was just prepped then i would change doors.
Thanks for the reply.
