this is after we pushed the punto out of the side of the fiesta..
it took most of the side out, the doors were brand new when it was painted as were the plastic rear arches & the green mouldings, the mouldings are all scuffed & twisted, the plastic arch is snapped & the door is history
Lucky it had the later doors with side impact bars so that saved the door folding in & damaging the pillars.
it also got pushed into the car in front & scuffed the bumper

It was some prat in the blue punto.... we wasnt in at the time, my car was parked up on full lock wheels towards the kerb, and he was showing off 'according to my neighbour' he tried to do a wheelspin but it all went wrong he hit a brand new mini which fucked his driveshaft vearing him into my car 
It pushed my car up the kerb into the neighbours fence and into the car infront
We got home literally 5 mins after it happend hence why i was on the case with the camera straight away.... I never seen this fella before he was attending a house warming party at the house opposite.
How i never knocked him the fcuk out is beyond me, but the owner of the mini gave him a few digs
The police didnt even do him for careless driving they said'let your insurance sort it'

and your lucky it wasent wrote of aswell.
if someone did that to my car my project and wrote it off after years of buliding it i'd litterley break there neck
glad it willl be sorted soon lets hope its gona look good as new

They tried putting it on a Cat C but after being on the phone for hours and the engineer also said its an AMAZING example for its age etc.... after some deliberation they decided to repair it

Got home tonight & started to strip it ready to go back to the bodyshop tomorrow, took the back seats & passenger seat out, the n/s bodykit & all the parts inside the n/s quarter panel, just need to take the light, window & door off when it gets there!!
only problem is Sassy has seen the odd blemish so is debating painting the whole car again

What a pain in the neck, I feel for you after all the hard work.
I hope you haven't disposed of the passenger door geen trim strip as you can't buy a new one from Ford for love nor money
, or if you can let me know where to get one as I've been trying for 6 months now.Good luck with the repairs.

At least you managed to save 2 of the 3 but the rear qtr & wing is still available from Ford or ford sources.
Its that Goddam pain in the neck passenger door trim thats giving me a serious headache.
Best of luck locating 1, & if you do manage please, please let me know where to get it from.

Its just a pain as Matt was suppose to have finished His escos by now, but my car being in that accident has put it all behind again.
so his car will miss all the shows this year, but should defo be at the shows next year

Try a breakers jasper i seen some there before complete doors too
Thanks for the advice, I'll keep an eye out - but its a brand spanker I'm after really.
Its for after the Respray, I currently have a full set on my car but I was hoping to put new ones on.
But even now I'm just trying to get a full set of spares, just in case I encounter the same bad luck as Sassy with some idiot running into or damaging the one's I have on

all sourced from ford parts uk luckily i am covering the green with silver stripe so you will never know visually. The only thing is i need the offside wing so it looks like a scrappy job .
Learn form my mistakes peeps... I bought a full set 4 years ago and when i removed them of my old car they all bent out of shape. Use fishing line and a hairdryer to remove old ones then you wont have to scour europe to find replacements
