We fitted an uprated fuel pump yesterday (cheers for the help Kester 
) its never had a pump before & the old one was still going strong 
just the fact it wouldn't have coped with the extra flow thats needed for the power upgrades!!
Its Sassy's birthday next week, she said she dosn't need much so she asked for some bits for the power upgrades, so i got her the fuel pump & fitted it, i also have this for her,
Omex 600 series managment system & a set of dark greens
tha should help it along

took it to Brunters yesterday for a grudge match with Lou Lou, got some great pics but that took most of the day, it was far to hot for good runs, we were all to hot & bothered by that time
Sassy bogged a bit on the first run, flew on the second one, then bogged on the 3rd, she got the 3rd run because the data was lost from the second run, the only good 1
Lou flew on the 1st run but said it felt a lot slower than when she run a few weeks before, it showed in the times aswell
Lou set the quickest times & had the launch & gears to near perfection Sassy hadn't driven her car in 3 & a half years & had done less that 50 miles before we left, she had a good go but a running issue didn't help!! still if it was all on form Lou would still have took some beating 
In all it was still a good day, something a bit different, just need to sort some little issues on the car, i started today with the exhaust, i'll give the details when i have more time.

as said i fabricated another exhaust yesterday, it still has the 4" mongose backbox & rear section, the downpipe & centre sections are hybrid parts made from escort turbo magnex & mongoose parts & some odds & sods that we had at work, it now all sleve fits together & has a flexi section
Today i changed the cambelt & tensioner, adjusted the rear shocks to get the rear end a little higher & reset the shock damping. We also modified the front bumper to get more air to the cooler, that took a bit of time but we didnt want to cut the centre out of the bumper, not really into that!!!
I also knocked up a bit of new loom for the crank sensor as the old bit was causing a problem.

was that tape on the skirts/arches to stop the stone chips???
car look wicked
deffo need to get more air to the intercoolers tho imo,,
but i agree withnot cutting the centre out completely as it doesnt look as good on anycar
glad every 1 had a good time

yeh the tape was for the stone chips, and im damn glad it was there now aswell the amount of stones that were embedded in the tape!!!
theres loads more air flow now, matts done a good job i'll get some pics up as soon as i get a chance to take some

as many people who have fitted an AP clutch will know somtimes its hard to get the adjustment with the standard ratchet & pawl, i improvised so far with a few washers on the cable, on escort turbos you can fit a mk 6 escort pedal & quadrant but on the fiesta the bend of the pedal is totally different so the mk 6 escort pedal is not suitable,,,,,, unless you fabricate the bottom of the fiesta pedal onto the top of the escort one
Thats what i done yesterday, i didn't do the neatest of jobs, but that wasn't an issue as you can't see it! Strength was the main issue, i had some primer & satin black to finish it with but someone had moved it & i couldn't find it i ended up giving it a blast of stonechip just to prevent the rust.....

bit of a gap in this thread now
i did change the engine hoses & most of the car was finished..........
but then some twat crashed into it when it was outside the house parked
it was just before we moved so we've been busy since then & the car has just sat there! Got the insurance people round to acess it now, just have to wait for the go ahead to get it repaired..............
