Default RS2000 van conversion, immobiliser help!!!

hello ford boys and girls i was rudely prompted to begin my RS2000 conversion on my 270,000 mile mk5 escort van this weekend after it it decided to die in the snow! i had a complete L-reg rs2000 totally standard apart from a silly push-start ignition and a hollow cat , the car drove like a bag of crap as the suspension was shot but the engine started and drove absolutely fine. Iv swapped the whole front subframe over, complete engine loom dashboard loom, fusebox, fuel sender and... nothing. The ignition and lights work, but it will not turn over or pump any fuel unless you put a feed straight to starter/pump. Plugging the clock from the RS2k in showed that the red immobiliser light comes on and stays lit with the ignition (not flashing) for about 30 secs or more, with the ignition off it does nothing. I have fitted the complete rs2k steering column with the immobiliser ring, PATS box etc and using the chipped RS key. The only thing i havnt fitted is the central locking from the RS, after finding it not starting i removed the complete doors (!) off the RS and plugged the central locking loom in, but locking the RS doors (which arent attached to the van obviously just wired in) just results in the central locking having a fit and locking/unlocking non-stop. Bit lost now!!! does anyone have any ideas on how to bypass the immobiliser, remove the PATS stuff completely or at least make it work? any help much appreciated as i'm stranded at work now with no car!!!!

Mines doing the same as this now, do you just cut that lock thing off and join those 3 wires together and that will by pass it etc? I only have the driver side one will that be ok?
