still sorting the loom out and got to run the brake lines and fuel lines down the car make some brackets for the fuel cell mount the handbrake brackets and fit all the tanks and pipes in the engine bay and some bits and bobs round the car

Hi all
Done a bit more today
i've fitted the handbrake brackets and cable,4x4 cosworth rear brakes,cosworth engine loom,fitted the tanks and pipes in the engine bay,made new brake lines and fitted,black mesh in the front bumper and bonnet
The car loom is 90% done just need to make a fuse box in the car as i have done a way with the big fuse box in the engine bay.
Hope to have car done for april.

Hi all thanks for the comments
it just got its first wash as i had the windscreen fitted on monday so before i start i took so pics
still got the loom to sort but should be all done on thursday and then it should start

only thing im asking is im looking into doing somthing like this but use it as a ever day car so id like it to be all legal, thats not saying the way you do it is not legal.

its always bothed me how much roughly have u lot spent on each of these projects youve done as im thinking of doin something similar but keeping the extierior as standard as possible so i can trick people so it get as little attention as possible if possible might be funn do do it with a 5 door

Add the 2 figures together and you may be close to the true cost.

I would think so yeah, but that will cost him Ł25 I believe, might be a better way to sort it for him, not sure. Bit shocked that the car has been thru 3 owners and had all this work done, when its still registered in my name. Seems a bit risky for this fella given it obviously owes him a fair bit now and its not in his name.

it will just be a admin error from the insurance to dvla ive had plenty of damaged cars sometimes the log book is in limbo untill someone claims it but im sure nobody will argue for Ł25. nice to see the car built back up

i contacted the dvla over this shell and all he needs do is fill the form in and pay 25 quid ,i didnt really wana put a nother name on log book so never did it my self ,my shell thats sat for 2 years hasnt had log book sent off and that was a cat d

hi all i've not had the car for a few weeks as it been having a exhaust mad at power and performance in norfolk and has now been droped off at a auto electrics specialist as the larst person can't finish it because off work so it has put me behind so hope to get it all sorted and MOTed by the end off the mouth
