Hi all

Done a bit more today
i've fitted the handbrake brackets and cable,4x4 cosworth rear brakes, cosworth engine loom, fitted the tanks and pipes in the engine bay, made new brake lines and fitted, black mesh in the front bumper and bonnet

The car loom is 90% done just need to make a fuse box in the car as i have done a way with the big fuse box in the engine bay.

Hope to have car done for april.

Declare on insurance and simply register with DVLA, providing engine number etc and increase in CC. Very easy

will it not need a IVA test though ?

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring...le/DG_10014199

only thing im asking is im looking into doing somthing like this but use it as a ever day car so id like it to be all legal, thats not saying the way you do it is not legal.

Dark indicators and tail lights aren't my thing, but the rest of it looks absolutely amazing.

its always bothed me how much roughly have u lot spent on each of these projects youve done as im thinking of doin something similar but keeping the extierior as standard as possible so i can trick people so it get as little attention as possible if possible might be funn do do it with a 5 door

Think of a figure, double it.

Think again, and double again.

Add the 2 figures together and you may be close to the true cost.

Exactly the same formula works for,, How long did it take to do?

I would think so yeah, but that will cost him Ł25 I believe, might be a better way to sort it for him, not sure. Bit shocked that the car has been thru 3 owners and had all this work done, when its still registered in my name. Seems a bit risky for this fella given it obviously owes him a fair bit now and its not in his name.

it will just be a admin error from the insurance to dvla ive had plenty of damaged cars sometimes the log book is in limbo untill someone claims it but im sure nobody will argue for Ł25. nice to see the car built back up
