Default Pics of Early rebuild stage of my RS 500 Racecar

This is the first time ive tried to put up pics , so apologies if it looks shite !
There is loads to do on this car but im making slow progress and hope to have it rolling , with all the welding done by the end of March , next stop to the paint shop to sort the engine bay and inside . The engine is built , the gearbox and new diff is in as is the rose-jointed rear axle .The rear shox are Bilsteins ( Tarmac spec 400/200 on 280lb springs , ) the Fronts are GpN original strut bodied Bilsteins 550/220 on 500 lb springs to start with , heavier later ! The tca's are Broms Zoo jobbies , im going to get it rolling on a 4x4 Arb to start with with a view to GpA roll bars later . Front Brakes are 356 x 32 , still waiting for calipers , rears are GpA Calipers and bells waiting for the 315 x 32 discs to turn up . The top mounts are getting proper bearings tomorrow and Lee at Fusion is going to help with the Fuel tank box and top mount engine bay Finishers .
Cheers .!

The workshop with the chequered floor is where it came from , my one is the Agricultural unit with concrete Fridge floor and no power !!
Still , anything is better than nothing !
The front arches are , tubbed inside but wont make much difference with the set up i have on the front suspension .The rears , however , will get a 10 or even 11 inch wide wheel in , done some major works there and a Fibreglass bodykit trimmed right down .

Hi Stuart , glad to see you back mate ! The cut out is part of an exhaust tunnel designed for a previous application , i may be able to use it eventually !

The engine and box ready to got in , bits of carbon in the dash , a radtec 500 intercooler etc....

Car has gone for paint now , so it shouldn't be too much longer before i can fit it up . the loom has gone for altering to wasted spark as has the P8 ecu , the dash loom is made and hanging on the garage wall. Taken delivery of a selection of GpA front and rear anti roll bars to play with and my rear brakes are done !!!
