A std saph cossie has 200 bhp, my beemer is standard and has 231 so think I will be the one waving bye bye in the rear view mirror. As for a lost sale for Ford they already lost me as a buyer cos their build quality is pants in comparison to their European rivals even today (but I still have a soft spot for my RS).

I wanted to buy a Focus ST but was put off by the steering column because when I went to adjust it the whole fucking thing wiggled and the rest of the car felt cheap and nasty! Furthermore it is not even a Ford engine anymore its a Volvo and if I wanted to remap it I would be replacing the clutch in 10k miles too. Done 30k miles in the SEAT and never missed a beat, neither cars have in 4 years.

As for my Escort it can't go a week without something else needing replaced or worked on. Have spent 6k on her since last year and its still not right!

Also considering the fact that they made the mistake of giving you a job in the first place then who knows what other retards like yourself they have hired since.

If you are worried about them loosing sales then I would take your buckets off the road as nobody wants to be reminded of their past disasters because of the twats like you that still drive them.

I think you will find that we were here first. Also you will notice that as car enthusiasts we have chosen a Ford site. We like Fords. However, I wanted a diesel that was rear wheel drive. Which Ford should I have got? I have had various Fords and enjoy them very much.

As for my previous post, I was suprised that an ST220 or a turbocharged V6 could not crack out a faster time on the quarter mile.

Fair play. I would just like to point out that disparaging remark was in no way to be taken in relation to a mentally retarded person. Actually I like them, they are friendly. However, the word itself has a variety of meanings in a slang context including a person considered foolish or socially inept which is apparent in this case when considering cossie24v "modifications".

You are correct in that this is a forum for Ford enthusiasts. However, I would consider the majority are also avid car/driving fanatics anyway using these cars as ongoing projects for whatever reason and no doubt have other non-Ford cars as daily runners that are bought for particular purposes to suit that individual's requirements i.e work, economy, family etc.

Personally, I have nothing against Granadas but this one clearly takes the biscuit and if disillusioned people are going to post pictures of shit like that on an open public forum thinking its cool then its only fair they are brought down a couple of pegs as its best not to encourage them. Considering the number of negative comments on this thread it would seem that general consensus would agree.

A standard Jag XJR (X300/1994) has 320 brake, and 371ftlb or torque.... fair enough thats more power and torque than your motor.... but it is nearly 500KG's heavier than yours.... does the 1/4 mile in 14.4 secs. The X308 will do it in 13.4 standard..... They are big old tubs..... AND they are big old auto tubs.

Personally i think the above body kit is a big improvement, sort the body, and sort the engine and you will be onto a good thing
