Well you don't like my Mk3 well its just a toy to play with there are changes coming for it and we were already having a re-think before I put it on here the chrome arch's were always coming off it was something that was first done just have not got around to taking them off but the rear arch's now need some attention and I have another body kit for it one in more keeping with the car and yes I know you don't like body kits but as said car is a toy to play with the wire's you see in the pic are going to the lap top as I was at Top Boss taking some pic's when it was being mapped as you will also see a wire coming out of the exhaust and yes the car was slow at the pod first of all it is the first time I have ever driven a car up the strip secondly the car is having a few teething problems first run was a 16.5 then it just seemed to get slower and it developed a miss fire and for a couple of years the engine has run hot and we don't know why even Fitz at top boss can not get to the bottom of it So I now have two Cossie engine's A bob and boa so I am now going to build a stronger engine for it by using the block from the bob as the bob block is a lot stronger the the boa block and the cams form the bob and the heads and timing gear from the boa I am then going to rebuild the other engine back up and put in my other car and just to show you that I not the Twat you all think I am here are a few pic's of my pride and joy





Its a standard 2.8 Ghia X and yes I know there is a silly spoiler on the back but that is coming off and I have a very rare Ford RS kit for it and everythink that will done to this car will be very suttle as that's the way I what it and just for the record critizium I can take insults I find offencive and thats all I have to say Cheer Vic

seriously,the car is too big for lairy bodykits and stickers and for heavens sake dont paint it yellow or orange.and get that wiring tidied up before it catches fire as you have the base for a cracking car,just lose the above,or at least that fast and the furious spoiler as it doesnt belong on the back of a 90's 5 door family hatchback period.

Now that second one is much more like it, tidy looking car. I dont think the spoiler suits it at all and id lose the ford racing plate thing but they arent half as in your face as the mods on your other one and are just my personal taste. The escort cab in the background looks really smart too.

PMSL! it certainly does look a mess and that is being polite! There is a reason nobody makes bodykits for a grandada cos there is no demand, simples. And as for boring mods from Halfords it looks like you stuck their entire badge collection on the boot!
You could cut your work short saving alot of time and money with a jerry can of fuel and some matches to give it an honourable funeral.

if you use a BOB block and BOA heads you wont get a stronger engine but you will get 9/1 compression (y).... however thats no good for a blown application

As for the car... I think cars with stupid bodykits are actually the new sleepers. I don't know about you other lot but if I see a suspiciously clean, standard looking car I kind of expect some hidden surprise under the bonnet.

Would never expect any kind of power in a chavved up, molested shed like this though...

Yep as said I get the point about the car and changes are coming as soon as I get time changes you might like or you might not and I'm sure you will tell me and I am not making threats just angry and maybe Passion Ford but there is no need for it and I happen to be a very passionate about Ford cars as not only have I own a good few of them I am also an ex Ford of Dagenham employee from 1980 to 1984 so have built the cars you guys play with and yes my car may look a mess at the mo but its still a Ford and once the engine is sorted it will be a very quick one and as far as modified cars go I have involved with them since I was 17 and in that time I have seen the good the bad and the very ugly and I have seen far worse the you have shown me and if I still had the pic's of it I could show you a Granada far worse the the Barryboy ones it was sprayed purple and gold had an Escort Mk6 spoiler on the back and it was covered in around 300 led's and it was call some stupid name which also lights with led's and sideskirts made from stainless steel

Yup ditch the first bag of shite and work on this one.

Lose that stupid spoiler which clearly does not fit, in fact remove all the tack off it including that awful shiny plate on the front as you are neither Bo or Luke Duke. Please God tell me it has not got an airhorn!

Concentrate on this one and stick your whopper of an engine in from the first bucket. Will handle like a bag of shit but at least when you go backwards into the wall you might at least have a chance to put the flames out with some speed.

how do you come to that conclusion then? the blocks are the same, with the exception of slightly bigger castings on the webs for the two central crank bearings

and 9.1 cr isnt too bad for boost, most vw 1.8t are at 9.5 and have no trouble making decent power with raised boost levels

That's ok then as no one was more disapointed than me to see the plant close as a lot of my friends were made redundant when I first started at Dagenham there were 15.000 people on the site and to drive past the site now and to see all the body and assembly plants all gone and the River plant that I used to work in is now under the A13 Dagenham by pass is not good the area has totally change since I left there 18 years ago
