Top update.Its getting there.

 

progressing nicely not long now before its paint time

i think it would be a good idea to fit camber shims on the rear struts at the same time so you could have some adjust ability on the rear .
they would be a simple profile like this



and get some off set shims to fit in the middle in 1mm increments .

 

dave finished the front roll bar brackets 2nite, just need tarting up abit now.









just need fixing to chassis legs then onto the rears

i painted the underside of the scuttle panel in the colour the cars goin to be

moondust silver.................





i think it will look nice with the black series one strips

the a light coat of zinc 182


then 2k primer








then black guide coat

we got the car on the ramp yesterday to finish off the front bladed roll bar.









then we made a start on the rear

Hi mate dropped a load ov bits off wiv mark the other week but like a space cadet 4 got some things an only remembered when was half way there DRRRRR!!!!! So going up in the morning to drop corsa electric power steering unit an non power sterling rack off an the main things off PENNIES lol So all down to mark now!!!! He's made quite a few parts last time i was there rear turrets an rear cradle where near enuf done an he's doin a few engine mods 4 me that will b beltin so hope get a few pics 4 a up date 4 u!!!!! Hey impressed wiv ur cars progress

iv been busy with one thing or another but we are back on track now

got my new seat from co ordsport.

hi all

i had a full day on the car for the first time in about 12 months!

got the rear harness mounts welded in then started on cleaning the floor
ready for etch then stone guard











just got to seal all the seams now! so thats daves job tuesday because
he has lent sheps wurth sealer gun an im not goin to f++k it up lol

tomorrow i will start the prep on the front inner arches etc.
