Hi im restoring an 1983 rs 1600i,but i realy dont want to fit the cvh supplied is there any other simple but effective n/a engine transplants that would be a near enough bolt in job?Iwas thinkin st 170 motor but im worried the gearbox will be torture to fit ie cable shift.if i was to fit a zetec black top which should i choose 1.8 or 2.0 litre cheers any help would be well handy
