have just been given a mk6 3dr escort 1.4 cvh in not bad nick and im goin to start the project soon.

it will be used in hillclimb sprint events.

im not sure on what engine to drop in so im after a few ideas from my fellow blue ovel friends

do i go zetec (black top/silver top) or cvh or zvh?

do i keep the running gear or change to rs2000?

any advice would be greatfull

 

Flog it and buy an rs2000, then 90% of the hard work has been done!

2.0 Zetec it, then go for motorbike Throttle Bodies. Would make for a good project without breaking the bank.

 

rs2000 with throttle bodies and a 2.3 galaxy bottom end? or 2.5 duratec
