Ok i have a ford escort not a cossie just a regular gay ass escort but i wanna convert it to rwd using the mazda bp-t4w motor out of the mazdaspeed miata and the miata transmission my problem is i dont know where to start or what i need besides the motor tranny and rear end. Can anyone help me with this i would really appreciate it. So basically a complete parts list for the conversion and any insight or knowledge about the swap/conversion would be greatly appreciated.

also i was wondering if it wud be easier to do the swap/conversion or just drop the escort shell on the miata frame. Thank for ur help

 

That sounds complicated. No sierras round your way? Follow the herd and there will be more information about. A conversion like you are suggesting sounds unique and unless you are confident about how to do it I would leave well alone.

 

Can i ask why a Miata? Im guessing you already have both escort and Miata?
