Is all the fab work done on your shell?
What are your plans with the car? colour ? wheels ? power?
there build thread on here mate
its painted blue all fab work done by ag motorsport ,as for power it will
run what ever the car/engine comes with i buy then over time it will
get uprated ,not sure on wheels yet
from the looks of things, you'll soon have another one getting the treatment so if you don't sell the jig i'll be waiting for a beam
might have to come a tad bit further than coventry to get it though
the jig going no were mate its tookd away in a safe place
also a normal focus back beam is same as a focus rs one bar the brakes
just the front that different so iv been told buy the bufftys on rsoc site
This is awesome mate, have i read this right then... this shell is going to be forsale when complete as a rolling shell? rough figure of a price?
it will have the main fabwork done the convertion (little bits like fuse box brakets an that will be up to buyer) it will be in primer with all
panels bar spolier an grille around (4grand ,not desided yet) tho wount be rolling just on
trolley unless i get more for it
That's the "roughly" part Mines pretty much quite simple, a stock Focus column with the shaft modified e.g cut and Saph one welded on.
it will be same as it copyed from my other shell, the part i ment was past bulkhead the coupling from triagle bit to steering rack just i have
shorten mine for it to fit ,?not the column the coupling
im trying to cut the top out of the cossie pedal box , weld a plate on the front (to add strength) the make up some kind of braket with a roller to carry the steering colum down till it changes to the triangle needed for the cossie steering rack.
every one ive looked at is different so i thought id keep it as high up as i could as im a lanky 6'3" sod

What you think?
Once you fit the "special" bearing it'll work perfect.
could you not simply have cut that pedal section out of a seirra and then welded it in where you felt most comfortable?
the hole for the bearing wold have then linged up with everythign else?
