looks an absolute beuty mate!!!
What did you do regards the black round the hatch window. I've just painted my car, and cant find anyone to vinyl it as it was before!

Painted it mate to match the window surrounds.. but you can get the vinyl from Chris at Passion Restoration Products....

Thanks for the contact for the vinyl. That is some serious work you've carried out there!! I thought i was brave cutting the front off mine just in front of the susspension legs but thats takes balls to do what you've done to yours! I got mine in november too, but i've not gone to the degree you have with yours and i'm not quite as close to it being a complete car as you! So every credit on a fantastic job!

few more pics as ive strarted on the engine ... refurbed a few bits, new camshaft, new valves, head stripped cleaned and refurbed.... like new all the bits, also done the engine mounts too..

head all bolted on - awaiting new lifters to go on and just loose fitting other bits and bobs to make sure I have all thr right nuts and bolts !!

This has to be the best restoration of any mk3 escort be it xr3 xr3i rs16i or series 1 RS turbo anybody would do well to top this Gazm you are a legend this build deserves to be a magazine feature
