got the gen ford panels now that will make up the shell.... some of these I havent even seen for sale anywhere before... anyway heres a pic.. these have been oiled and stored for 20 odd years... but look like i just walkesd into ford and bought em ..
will be almost like a new shell when its put together....

few more pics of work so far... hopefully now it wont be getting any smaller but bigger just got to chase back to the edges and remove inner sills .. then can hopefully start on putting new metal back in !

lol !! i know its almost a shame to use them !! guy bought them all 20 odd years ago for a resto and nevr did it in the end... theyre all oiled aswell so almost like new. and all genuine Ford.

Hi all - just a small update as I've not had the chance to kick on as I wanted due to one thing an another ... but have done a little more and hopefully I'll have the time now to get stuck in....
trial fitting of scuttle bulkhead, boot and rear floor under rear seats etc... and they fit lovely... hope the rest are the same...

lol thanks for the comments guys... yeh not much left of it ... but it will start to go back together now.. so first proper fit of new metal - inside of a pillars and screen pillars has been rust proofed and then had a coat of wax oil before they are spotted together.....

Glad to see someone tacking care of a car like this! Wish i had the room and tools to do it to mine!! Well worth the effort doing this will be around forever if kept in the right hands! Why can't more people do this to fords!!!!

WOW!!!!!!!! I am amazed at how well its turning out and the wheels will certainly fit in place gary.hope u got home safely after ur 50mph m1 section...get pics on of the wheels with the p6s on.
