Love it! was also going to take on a mini project again this year with my mate Sam, had all the bits to.
2.2 V-tec from prelude we had and a mini we had stored but mate of mine asked if he could have the mini so gave it him.
Good job realy as we've got the bloody escorts to finish but defo gona do another mini after seeing inspiration like this.

I think every one loves a mini mate, I grew up on an A-series lol
Clubman's my fave though
yeh agree with doing something new and the V-tec is widely used but no one from what we could find had fitted a 2.2 V-tec as they said it was to big lol we were gona mate it to a 1.6 box, imagine the ratio
will defo do another one day though, look forward to getting a chance at seeing this in the metal

finally an update
hi there everyone. have been doing little bits on the car but nothing like i wanted to get done time a bit sparse at the mo.
all the little bits add up though. fitted the diff and drive shafts plumbed brakes in and just waiting to bleed them up, will be Saturday hopefully.
added a few trick bits to the brakes a bias gauge a line lock an a bias valve to adjust the back brakes for track / road.
also made up a handbrake cable out of two sierra cables.
master cylinders pipe work in engine bay.
more pipe work
front strut setup
line lock nice and close at hand.
bias valve just for the back brakes.
drive shaft in place ready to rumble.
you dont often see one of these under a mini.
not much room under the wheel for the caliper.
more updates next week me hopes
