Hi I have done loads to the car over the last few months but not updated here as did'nt think any one would want to see!But I have been working hard to get it on its wheels
I brought these grp a check straps to stop all the travel when unloaded




this is all the travel I have with the rear shock loaded.Unloaded theres 170mm -the 40mm bump stop

I am going to cut the body mount off the car and extend the front by 50mm witch is all I can get so the bonnet will close
And the rear can be extend as much as you like as these loads of room but 50mm in there will work for me
Shame about the nice painted shell!!!!!!!
Got a 909 front strut brace but if I extend the struts then it will not fit


Found some grp a roof hatches do I cut the roof



I don't know about them yet?may get them carbon rapped
PAS cooler fitted

Picked up an ATL fuel cell bit bigger that I wanted but the right price!!!!

Came with atl sender and gauge,atl 1.5l swirl pot,and atl filled cap uint.Got a lift pump just need a 044 and fuel lines and alloy fuel rail

SCS beam is on got to come off as it needs a bush replacing


Grp a roll bar tempory fitted


Rear brakes on

Pollycarb windows fitted,new front screen,test fitted the mirrors

So its ROLL'IN ROLL'IN but has to be sripped to mod the body

 

what mirrors are they - got any pics of the bases, etc?

There a copy of the grp A escort mirror but in carbon, I have cut up a saph mirror mount and will bond the glass and covers on ...bit crap

And use it for a year or so and save hard for a 500hp engine and gearbox aswell

I have thought long and hard about the shock travel problems and have seen this pis of some top mounts and think I will make mine the same.

Change from the Grp A mount and use something like this
