ive seen a few h2b conversions on honda tech, least that would give your the decent b series box and wide power band of the h series but like you say, theres only so much torque you want in a fwd

Ye i'd pick a B over a H series any day. If i wanted a jump in capacity i'd sleeve my new block to a bigger size. But i'm actually staying round about the same capacity. The ports will only flow a set amount of air, i'd rather them be "maxed out" at 10,000rpm's giving me a similar powerband to using a higher capacity with earlier spool.

Heres an inlet manifold I've been playing around with. I think this is probably roughly what it will look like.
